Managed IT Support
Your service desk, device management and infrastructure care — on a per-user contract with defined response times.
Tolvara migrates, runs and supports the systems your business depends on — Microsoft 365, Azure and everything wired in between. Clear SLAs, long-term contracts, and engineers who answer.
Everything we sell is defined in a service description with deliverables, response targets and a price basis — so you know exactly what you are buying before you sign.
Your service desk, device management and infrastructure care — on a per-user contract with defined response times.
From ageing servers or another provider into Microsoft 365 and Azure — planned in waves, rehearsed, and rolled back-able.
Tenant administration, licensing, identity, security baselines and cost control for organisations already in the Microsoft cloud.
Making your line-of-business applications, identity and data flows work together — instead of by copy-and-paste.
Pipelines, infrastructure as code, environments and release operations for teams that ship software but don’t want to run platforms.
Tested backup of Microsoft 365 and server workloads, documented restore procedures, and continuity planning that fits SME budgets.
Every agreement carries written response targets by priority, an escalation path, and service credits if we miss. The SLA is the product.
No tiered maze. The people who design your environment are the people who answer when it misbehaves — and they document as they go.
Runbooks, network maps, asset registers and change records belong to you, kept current from day one. If we disappeared tomorrow, you’d cope.
P1 response target on managed support contracts
availability objective for platforms under our management
typical onboarding, audit to steady-state operations
These are the commitments we contract to — not marketing claims. Tolvara is an early-stage company and we publish only figures we can stand behind.
Onboarding is where most IT relationships quietly fail. Ours is a fixed, documented sequence — you can see the full detail on our approach page.
We audit your estate: identities, devices, servers, licences, backups, contracts and the risks nobody wrote down.
Monitoring, patching, backup and security baselines go in first — before any grand redesign. Boring on purpose.
Agreed changes land in planned waves with rollback points: cloud moves, identity clean-up, application integration.
Steady-state operations under SLA: service desk, maintenance windows, quarterly service reviews and a live improvement backlog.
The targets below apply to our Managed IT Support contracts and are written into every agreement, alongside escalation contacts and service credits.
| Priority | Typical situation | Response target | Update cadence | 24/7 cover |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| P1Critical | Business-wide outage — nobody can work | 15 min | every 30 min | |
| P2High | A team or core system is down or degraded | 1 hr | every 2 hrs | |
| P3Standard | One person affected; workaround exists | 4 hrs | daily | business hours |
| P4Request | Changes, new starters, questions, advice | 1 working day | at milestones | business hours |
Response = a qualified engineer working on the issue, not an auto-acknowledgement. Full definitions, measurement method and service-credit terms are set out in each service agreement.
A professional-services business runs email, files and finance from a seven-year-old server in a cupboard. Backups are unverified; the previous IT arrangement is one overstretched contractor.
In an engagement like this, Tolvara would audit the estate in week one, stabilise patching and backup by week three, then migrate mail and files to Microsoft 365 in rehearsed weekend waves — with the old server kept warm as a rollback until sign-off. Steady-state support then runs under the SLA above, with quarterly reviews and a costed improvement backlog.
This is the shape of work we are built for. As a young company we would rather show you the method than invent testimonials — references available as our client base grows.

UK organisations from roughly 10 to 250 seats — large enough to need real IT operations, small enough that hiring a full internal team doesn’t make sense. We also take DevOps and integration projects from software teams of any size.
Not yet — and we won’t claim otherwise. Tolvara was incorporated in 2026 and we are working towards Cyber Essentials as an early priority. We run our own operations to those standards in the meantime, and we only ever publish accreditations we actually hold.
Managed support runs on 12-month terms because good operations need continuity — but with a 90-day break clause in the first term, and your documentation is yours to take at any time. Projects are simply fixed-scope: delivered, signed off, done.
A fixed four-stage sequence — Discover, Stabilise, Migrate & Integrate, Run — typically four weeks to steady state. Disruptive changes are scheduled outside working hours with rollback points. The full detail is on our approach page.
No. Tolvara (tolvara.co) is TOLVARA LIMITED, a UK managed IT services and cloud operations company. We have no connection with similarly named businesses in other sectors, including any operating in AI or manufacturing analytics.
We are registered in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and work with clients across the UK. Most delivery is remote by design; on-site work is scheduled where hands-on-hardware genuinely requires it.
Tell us what’s creaking. We’ll come back within one business day with an honest read on whether — and how — we can help.
